Fine Art

LAAFA’s Fine Art programs are renowned for combining a solid, substantial foundation of technical adeptness and control with the critical thinking and communication skills essential for success in today’s complex art world.  Our graduates possess strong technical abilities and are driven to develop their own visual language and a personal aesthetic that resonates deeply with one’s self.

The Fine Art Programs reflect a deep respect for time-honored teachings that have produced great art throughout history.  In addition, the programs also embrace contemporary, critique-based methodology equipping students for the art world of the 21st century.

Students will leave after three years of study with the knowledge necessary to alter the landscape of artistic expression in today’s art world and the confidence to pursue a lasting career as a successful, thought provoking, professional artist.
