Joseph Todorovitch

Joseph Todorovitch is a contemporary painter who looks to the past for clues about the future of painting. By understanding fundamental principals of picture making, he can develop paintings that are harmonious and innovative. His work is primarily figural and aims to create a visual field of atmosphere, space, and light, occasionally evoking subtle narratives within the viewers. He is working to create paintings that draw viewers in and hold them by providing technical interest that makes it difficult to stop investigating. Although painting is always challenging, paintings should evolve from a natural place within.
